Enter the start and end date of the period of history for your
timeline. Choose a scale of days, weeks, months, years, decades,
or centuries. Select how far apart the tick marks should be. This
of course can be changed later if you want your timeline longer

Events can be entered as a single date or with a start and end
date. Simply enter the event name, date(s) and the program will
automatically place the event on the timeline.
The event can be easily edited again at any time during the timeline
creation. The auto placement also be overridden and the event can
be moved up or down on the timeline for a customized view. (More>>)
If desired, group events into categories. All events in the same
category are visually grouped by font and category image. This quickly
allows a student to see the relationship of grouped events. (More>>)
Select from a hundred clip art images to enhance your timeline.
Add, move, delete or resize as desired on the timeline. These images
include major historical periods such as ancient Greece and Rome
as well as early American history, presidents, Middle Ages and World
War II.
You can also import clipart from your favorite clipart web site.
Print your timeline in Portrait (vertical) or Landscape (horizontal)
mode. Preview the timeline before printing it. Change margins if
the defaults are not what you want.
Print to Fit Page allows you to print the entire timeline on one
page no matter how large it is.
If you have a color printer, your timeline will be printed in the
colors you selected in building your timeline. |
