This timeline has two categories - Greece and Rome. The events relating to Greece are in green and the events relating to Rome are in red.

Also notice that the timespan starts in the B.C. era and transitions into the A.D. era.

The WWII sample timeline uses more color and would be great for a color printer. The 6 categories are the major countries in the war.
